Achieve redundancy using multiple Availability Zones
It is recommended that you use multiple Availability Zones to increase your fault tolerance and disaster resilience.
Our AZs offer many resiliency capacities including having those AZs at 100km - 60 miles between AZs, so it’s rare for disasters in one AZ to spread to multiple AZs, and the distance is not too far to add significant latency.
